Interactive Props and Choreography Planning with the Mixed Reality Stage

Abstract: The Mixed Reality Stage is an interactive environment for supporting collaborative planning meetings in the application area of pre-productions. Based on augmented reality (AR) technology a group of experts shall be enabled to do complex planning and simulation tasks, without altering their current working habits radically. Virtual models and characters are projected into the real working environment of the users, enhancing the real world blending the real and the virtual. Multi-modal interaction techniques and tangible user interfaces are used to provide easy and natural access to virtual artifacts and characters.
